Tarpon FC - Soccer Club

Tarpon FC Soccer Club is proud to offer several soccer training camps throughout the year  to all of our club members as well as players from other soccer clubs in the Tampa Bay area. 

Our highly qualified in-house trainers offer advanced soccer skills training for Competitive and Recreational Soccer players.  We also offer the Coerver Soccer Training Camp as well as the Brazilian Soccer Camp in association with the prestigious "Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol".

Every Session will be from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Session 1 - Friday, January 27th
Session 2 - Friday, February 3rd
Session 3 - Friday, February 10th
Session 4 - Friday, February 17th

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT PUTTING THE BALL IN THE NET!!!

Shooting and Finishing Sessions will cover shot selection, timing runs, running off the ball, composure, finishing, developing a shooting attitude and much more!

Each session will consist of high quality drills designed to improve players' shooting and finishing skills, while also developing a positive attitude to shooting.

Cost: $10.00 per session or $35.00 for all 4 training sessions (Discounted Rate)

What We Will Learn: The Advanced Academy's sole purpose is to provide a quality education of soccer to youth players. Players will learn proper warm up, passing, receiving, dribbling, finishing, creativity, and the ability to create unpredictable attacking situations.
Dribbling using both feet we will learn:
feints to beat a defender without pressure
180 degree turns moving away from a defender without pressure
1v1 Apply technical skills learned in various game situations against pressure and defenders
1v1 Positioning for defense and offense will be introduced at this age level
Passing using both feet we will learn:
Seven elements of a perfect pass
How to receive a ball with the outside foot
receive the ball in the direction you want to go
How to create space with or without the ball
The overlapping run (most efficient and unpredictable run)
(2v1, 2v2) Apply technical skills learned in game situations against pressure and defenders utilizing the overlap
(2v1 2v2) Positioning for defense and offense will be introduced at this age level
Finishing using both feet we will learn:
Seven elements of a perfect shot or volley
Shooting inside of the foot back post (close range)
Finishing with laces (medium range)
Volley
Crossing and Finishing
Apply shooting skills learned in game situations against pressure and defenders
